Suddenly there are hitting prospects everywhere. Brandon Crawford makes his Salem-Keizer debut after going 6 for 14 in Arizona; Travis Denker and Ben Copeland continue their hot hitting; Wendell Fairley collects a rare extra-base hit.

Notes
Richardson has plus plus speed and can take a walk, a combination of tools that make him an interesting prospect. He has maintained an accepted batting average until this year, where he’s run hot and cold. He is currently in the middle of a hot streak, hitting 395 in his last ten games. Richardson is the kind of player who shouldn’t be affected by Dodd, as he primarily hits the ball on the ground. I attribute his struggles this year to facing advanced pitching. Hopefully he can maintain his recent hitting success. He may have some value to a major league team as a fifth outfielder/pinch runner.
