Sergio Romo promoted to San Francisco.
Vinnie Chulk designated for assignment.

This was a surprise to me, as Sergio had not been doing as well lately as he had been earlier in the season. He is, however, still striking out batters at an extraordinary rate. You can expect to see Sergio throw pitches with lots of movement from different arm angles. Should be interesting to see if his funky delivery will hold up in the bigs. A video of Sergio from Greg:
